Overall I wanted to start by saying that every group did great. Group 1 talk about chapters four , eleven, twelve, thirteen, and fourteen. they also talk about Cerebral palsy and scoliosis for the disability awareness portion. In the chapters, I learned about the relationships in language when it comes to verbal messages. They discussed topic selection tips and how to evaluate sources also, went over how to organize your speech and how to improve your communication skills. That being ways to try and maintain your audience’s attention and how to make your speech simple enough so that everyone can understand. We also showed how to make the audience feel the speech is relevant to them. For the disabilities portion, my group went over what Cerebral Palsy and Scoliosis is, and how it affects someone.
